Sinopsis
“Luz, Ánimo y Confianza” es un documental de mirada autoetnográfica y de temática social que trata de ofrecer una mirada más transparente, más humana y real acerca de la realidad de las personas transfemeninas. A través de las historias de vida de cuatro personas transfemeninas que se posicionan desde la disidencia al binarismo de género y provenientes de diferentes contextos socioculturales y con trayectorias vitales diversas el documental recoge sus reflexiones acerca de cómo ha sido su proceso de construcción de identidad, la relación que mantienen con su cuerpo y sus sentimientos e ideas acerca de la feminidad y las formas de encarar la transfobia. Todo esto a fin de que se nos pueda conocer por nosotras mismas y con la idea de que ello pueda ayudar a desarticular estereotipos que sobre nosotras se mantienen y que no ayudan a que seamos tratadas en las mismas condiciones de igualdad y respeto que todas las personas. _________ English Version “Light, Courage, and Trust” is an autoethnographic documentary with a strong social focus that seeks to offer a more transparent, human, and authentic perspective on the realities of transfeminine people. Through the life stories of four transfeminine individuals—who position themselves in dissent from the gender binary and come from diverse sociocultural backgrounds with distinct life trajectories—the film gathers their reflections on their processes of identity construction, their relationship with their bodies, and their feelings and ideas about femininity, as well as the ways they confront transphobia. All of this is intended to allow us to be known on our own terms, with the hope that such understanding may help dismantle persistent stereotypes about us—stereotypes that hinder our being treated with the same equality and respect afforded to all people.
